tHaleigh Holom, LMSW is a mental performance coach who specializes in equestrian sports. This clinic will be about moving riders through worries and mental blocks to achieve their riding goals. Participants should feel comfortable walk/trot/cantering on the horse in a group. You will need to provide your own horse. Feel free to visit her website to learn more.
Friday evening will kick off with an unmounted session where Haleigh lays the educational groundwork on how the body processes fear. (Exactly location and time TBA)
Saturday morning will be a joint mounted/unmounted group session practicing techniques that you can use moving forward in your riding journey. This will be held at Southern Cross Equestrian in Terrell, TX.
More info to come when registration officially opens. Registration is limited; clinic fees include facility fee.
All mounted riders are required to wear appropriate helmet and attire (clinic casual). Coggins must be provided for all horses and releases must be signed prior to mounting.
*Haleigh is not considered a rider instructor. Her coaching is purely on the mindset. It is recommended all riders be in a regular lesson program with proper instruction.
